In a caring, supportive, non-judgmental environment you can feel comfortable expressing yourself and sharing your concerns, thoughts, feelings and goals—whatever they are—whatever is bothering you. In therapy you can focus on yourself. You can feel heard and understood. I will listen, lead you to find answers, provide you with tools and strategies, and help identify creative solutions to overcome your struggles and challenges.
Psychotherapy is a process where the therapist helps you gain insight, understand better the patterns in your life, clarify and overcome obstacles to your having what you want in your life and see and use your strengths to become more of your “authentic self”.
You can see yourself in a new light with new insights, new ways of being, new found hope and maybe a sense of freedom or control since now you have more tools and choices in your life. The goal is that you discover a stronger sense of well-being, an ability to connect more fully with others, and be more at peace with yourself in the present moment.
